The position requires ARRT MRI certification, BLS, and a minimum of five years’ experience, with the ability to float to other units and work nights. Equipment includes Philips Ingenia 1.5 Tesla and EPIC PACS.

Qualifications

Job Summary:
MRI Technologist position in a healthcare facility located in an acute care setting. Responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures on adult and pediatric patients following established protocols. Requires independent judgment to apply appropriate scanning techniques for diagnostic purposes. The role involves working evenings and nights, including floating to other units as needed, and may require working alone at times.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10:00 PM 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday; may work 4x10 hour shifts.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, additional licensure to submit. Minimum of 5 years of experience, with a manager approval valid through 11/14/2025.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience performing MRI procedures in a similar clinical setting.
• Additional Information: Performs MRI procedures with minimal supervision, prepares and screens patients, and maintains safety protocols for magnet room access. Utilizes equipment including Philips Ingenia 1.5 Tesla MRI, Med Rad Spectris scanner, Solaris Injector, Omnicell medication systems, and EPIC PACS for charting. May float to other units/departments as required. Responsible for managing patient safety and adhering to equipment protocols.
