Job Description:

• Position: MRI Technologist
• Night 3x12-Hour (21:00 - 06:30) every 3rd weekend; holidays as assigned
• Call: 3 weekday day shifts per month and 1 weekend call every 12 weeks

Minimum Requirements (4043):

• Minimum of 2 years of experience for travelers (will review travelers with 1.5yrs if strong Level I/large hospital experience)
• Must have experience with Siemens scanners
• ARRT – American Registry or Radiologic Technologists or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
• BLS Certification
• Cardiac Experience is a major plus
• Experience with IV Starts strongly preferred for this role

Facility Info:

• Unit has (2) 1.5T Siemen's Aera scanners. We perform neuro, MSK and abdominal scans. "Specialty " exams include breasts, enterography and patients with pacemakers. We do not perform cardiac, prostate, CSF flow studies or MSA extremities. We have an MRI safe ventilator (stored in ICU) & an MRI safe IVAC along with MRI safe monitoring equipment. ICU patients are scanned regularly. We do not perform conscious sedation. EPIC EMR, charcoal grey scrubs.
