Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of hospital MRI experience, including Siemens equipment, for a 13-week evening shift assignment at a Gainesville, FL hospital.

Details

• Hospital-based MRI department serving critically ill patients
• 8-hour evening shift, Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• Position will float to all Gainesville MRI locations on campus
• 50-mile radius rule applies

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required, including hospital setting with critically ill patients
• Siemens MRI experience required, including XA and B platforms such as Avanto, Verio, Prisma, Aera, and Sola
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• BLS certification required
• FL license required if applicable
• No 180+ day non-clinical employment breaks
• Work history must not include unexplained gaps greater than 30 days
• At least 1 reference dated within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic and treatment MRI procedures in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with team to complete all ordered MRI exams
• Unit Manager interview required prior to placement
• No permeable shoes allowed
• FL AHCA processing may take up to 14 business days
• No RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• Maximum of 8 days RTO allowed for the 13-week contract
• Seasonal influenza vaccination required, with medical exemptions considered for 2025-2026 season
• Local candidates accepted
