Position Details

We currently have a client in Sioux Falls, SD looking for a Licensed MRI Technologist! Focus Staff seeks a highly motivated and energetic MRI Technologist who supports a friendly, positive, and professional environment.

This is a contract assignment for 13 weeks (temporary). The shift is 3 nights per week, 12 hours each. Rewards include pay based on location and experience, health insurance, 401K matching, new licensing reimbursement, and staffing in all 50 states.

Candidate Requirements
  • At least 2 years of recent, continuous experience as an MRI Technologist, proficient in all duties of an MRI Technologist II.
  • Active license and thorough knowledge of MRI protocols and complex procedures.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Hospital experience preferred, especially in emergency procedures.
Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images.
  • Perform patient studies according to protocol, ensuring safety and quality.
  • Explain procedures to patients and address concerns.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed, including metal removal and patient monitoring.
  • Train new hires and students.
