About the Facility:

• Level I Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
• Teaching Hospital with 874 licensed beds
• Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center

Department Information:

• Average patients/day: 40-45
• Minimum Years of Experience required: 1 year
• First-time travelers are welcome

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:

Adults and Pediatrics from ED, ICUs, Nursing units, and outpatients across the full spectrum of radiology exams and diagnoses.

Required Licenses and Certifications:

• ARRT(R) or NMTCB, ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT
• BLS certification
• State Licensure is not required

Skills Required:

Ideal candidates will possess good communication skills, a helpful attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a high patient acuity environment.

Support within the Department:

Our team includes a lead tech, modality supervisor, and Imaging Manager, fostering a collaborative environment with diverse experience levels ranging from new graduates to seasoned professionals.

Technology/Equipment:

• EMR: EPIC
• Department specific Equipment: Siemens 1.5T magnets

Orientation:

• Facility and departmental tours with introductions
• 5 days of departmental orientation, flexible based on the needs of the traveler

Scheduling:

• No rotations between weekends and weekdays; travelers will remain on the agreed-upon shifts
• Call requirements vary, with a fair rotation among full-time, part-time, PRN, and traveler teammates
• Holiday coverage is expected unless approved off in advance
• Travelers will work the same shift and times as agreed upon in the contract
