Jackson HealthPros is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in College Station, TX. The role involves performing MRI scans, preparing patients, and ensuring image quality under physician instructions.

The position runs for 12 weeks with a 40-hour workweek, Monday–Friday, plus on-call duties including weekends and holidays. Travel housing and benefits are provided by Jackson HealthPros.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (MR) current.
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure.
• 2 years’ experience as an MRI Tech.
• BLS certification.
• Texas Medical Board license.
• Experience with Philips or Siemens MRI equipment.
• Experience with 1.5T MRI systems.
• Ability to start IVs.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician’s scanning instructions and prepare patients for MRI procedures.
• Position patients and operate MRI scanners to acquire diagnostic images.
• Ensure safety and maintain image quality across assignments.

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure
• 2 years' experience as an MRI Tech
• BLS certification
• Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR)
• Medical Radiologic Technologist licensed by the Texas Medical Board (TMB)
• Experience with either Philips or Siemens equipment
• Experience with devices and 1.5T equipment
• Ability to start IVs

Assignment Details:

• Monday through Friday with a 7:30 start.
• Required call with a 30-minute response time.
• Call is required every 3rd week Monday through Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., plus 24-hour call on Saturday and Sunday.
• Weekend call is required.
• Rotational holiday call is required.
• May float between campuses in College Station and Bryan as needed.
• Black scrubs required.
