Job Summary

MRI Technologist, MRI. This position provides magnetic resonance imaging services for adult and geriatric patients across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings. The role includes a variety of examinations, including brain, spine, abdomen, extremity, cardiac, and breast imaging, with weekend coverage required.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week; typically Wednesday through Friday. The assignment is 13 weeks, from 11/16/2026 through 02/15/2027. Weekend coverage is required.
• Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of MRI technologist experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in magnetic resonance imaging (ARRT-MR) or certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in imaging technology (ARRT-IT); valid Washington license specific to magnetic resonance imaging; community hospital experience; charting system experience; proficiency with magnetic resonance imaging examinations and related procedures, including contrast administration and peripheral intravenous insertion.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neonates, infants, pediatric patients, and adolescents; Level I trauma experience.
• Additional Information: The position supports a daily caseload of approximately 3040 patients in a two-room department. Patient acuity ranges from ambulatory patients to patients requiring total assistance. Responsibilities may include specialized cardiac and breast imaging as well as brain, spine, abdominal, and extremity examinations. Optional call participation is available.
