We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to work in a dynamic environment. This position involves providing high-quality imaging services in accordance with established protocols and patient safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations on patients, ensuring adherence to procedural guidelines for various body parts, including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, musculoskeletal system, and spine.
• Utilize specialized imaging techniques such as T-1 and T-2 weighted imaging.
• Prepare and administer contrast media while observing all safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation using unit systems, including EPIC and Visage PACS.
• Follow isolation precautions and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in professional development and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience is required. First-time travelers are welcome.
• Skills: Proficiency in adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, ER/trauma, and various imaging procedures. Skills in special procedures and specific imaging techniques for diverse patient populations are highly valued.
• Certifications: ARRT MR and BLS certification are required. Additional certifications such as ACLS, ARMRIT, or ARRT R are preferred.
• Knowledge: Understanding of patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with familiarity with general studies, MSK, body, neuro, and breast imaging.

Work Schedule

• Work hours consist of 12-hour shifts, primarily on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
• Expected to work 36 hours per week.
• Participation in on-call rotation is required once a week and every fourth weekend.

Orientation and Scrubs

• Orientation on the unit lasts for 72 hours, ensuring all technologists are fully prepared for their roles.
• Scrubs are not provided; royal blue scrubs are required.
