Job summary

Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Madison, Wisconsin. Qualifications

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technologist to join our imaging team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality MRI scans and provide exceptional care to patients while ensuring safety protocols are followed. This position requires flexibility in scheduling based on business needs, with a primary schedule of Monday to Thursday from 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM, and a Friday shift that may be assigned as either day or evening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI examinations on patients following established protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Explain procedures to patients and address any questions or concerns.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Participate in ongoing education and training sessions to improve skills.
• Assist with other imaging tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of clinical experience in imaging.
• Certification from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) or ARRT Magnetic Resonance (MR) certification is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.

Schedule information

This position offers 8-hour shifts primarily scheduled Monday through Friday, with no required weekend or on-call duties. The technologist may be assigned to multiple locations based on the operational needs of the organization.
