Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Kelso, Washington. The position lasts 13 weeks with 40 hours per week and days shift.

Requirements include 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT registration, and state licensing as required. The MRI Tech will operate imaging equipment, ensure image quality, and support physicians in interpretation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required.
• BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT with registration in MRI.
• State-specific licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedure.
• Position patients for MRI scans.
• Assist radiologist with procedures.
• Start IVs and administer contrast per protocol.
• Evaluate MRI scans for quality and label appropriately.
• Load and operate power injectors for contrast.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Familiarity with McKesson PACS system.
