Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Alexandria, Virginia. You will work 40 hours per week with evenings shifts, contributing to high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care. This role offers benefits and clinical support from a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Radiology program of study with specialization and training in MRI.
• One year's experience as an MRI Tech.
• Valid Radiology/MRI license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Screen MRI patients for safety and contraindications according to protocols.
• Educate patients about MRI procedures and answer questions.
• Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment and report malfunctions.
• Start IVs and administer contrast media per orders and protocols.
• Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters for diagnostic results.
