Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a travel assignment at a Level 1 Trauma Center and teaching hospital in Johnson City, Tennessee. The role includes 3x12 hour day shifts (36 hours per week) with no on-call requirements, performing MRI procedures across multiple anatomical regions and advanced imaging sequences.

Candidates must have ARRT certification (MR preferred) and AHA BLS, with at least 2 years of MRI experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a fully trained MRI Technologist.
• ARRT (R) required, ARRT (MR) preferred.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Trauma Level I/II experience preferred.
• Contrast media handling and radiation safety proficiency.
• Isolation precautions and PPE familiarity.
• Lead/management experience preferred.
• Epic charting system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI studies across abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, chest, spine and MSK regions.
• Execute advanced imaging sequences: CINE, diffusion, gradient echo, perfusion, spectroscopy.
• Conduct cardiovascular MRI including MR Angio, MR Aortogram, and MR Cardiac with/without contrast.
• Operate GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba MRI systems with PACS.
• Document findings in Epic and coordinate with care teams.
