Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Nashville, Tennessee. The position requires 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with state registration where required.

The MRI Tech will perform imaging procedures, ensure safety, prepare patients, and assist radiologists with procedures. Responsibilities include patient prep, safety screening, image quality checks, and charting.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of MRI experience.
• BLS certification is required; ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT national certification with registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization to ensure safety.
• Assist radiologist with MRI procedures.
• Load and operate power injectors for contrast administration.
• Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and label appropriately.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use PACS systems.
