Job summary

Cross Country Allied is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The MRI Technologist independently performs imaging procedures, delivers high-quality diagnostic images, and ensures patient safety and comfort in a hospital setting.

Candidates must have ARRT certification or equivalent and MR registry with specified timelines, plus two years of relevant experience. The role is 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts and travel benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or CNMT/ARMRIT/ARDMS MR registry program.
• MR registry must be acquired within 18 months of primary registry acquisition or hire date.
• CNMT/ARMRIT/ARDMS graduates must obtain MR registry within 12 months of hire.
• Two years of relevant experience required.
• ARRT Certificate or equivalent; BLS and required state-specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs MRI procedures, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintaining clinical competency for all exams and equipment.
• Review patient history and physician orders, apply departmental protocols, properly identify patients, document information accurately, and ensure all exams are coded and archived appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members, demonstrating a caring and respectful approach.
