Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Austell, GA. The role requires 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, and state licensing where required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of MRI experience or equivalent
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with registration

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identification and explain procedures to patients
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures
• Interpret doctors' instructions and position patients for MRI scans
• Assist radiologist during procedures and monitor patient safety
• Start IVs and administer contrast as directed
• Evaluate MRI image quality and label/images correctly
• Operate power injectors for contrast administration
• Follow safety procedures regarding radiation and patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the PACS system
