Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Lexington, KY. The role entails operating MRI scanners, administering contrast, and ensuring high-quality imaging while interacting with patients and healthcare teams.

The position requires MRI-specific radiology training, 1 year of MRI experience, and a valid radiology license with BLS certification. Nights, 12-hour shifts, and travel benefits are provided.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of radiology program with MRI specialization.
• At least 1 year MRI Tech experience.
• Valid Radiology/MRI license per state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Aufgaben

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications before procedures.
• Educate patients on MRI procedures and answer questions.
• Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment; report malfunctions.
• Start IVs and administer contrast media per orders; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters for optimal results.
• Document procedure details and observations in accordance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure timely delivery of results.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow infection control policies.
