Requirements include completing a two-year Radiologic Technology program, state registration, ARRT, and 18 months MRI experience, preferably in critical care. This role emphasizes safety, patient care, and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• ARRT Registry in Radiology (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently to support diagnosis.
• Ensure patient and staff safety around the MRI environment.
• Position patients and coils for optimal imaging.
• Inject contrast media as required.
• Set and adjust technical parameters and monitor image data during scans.
• Recognize abnormal images and respond to life-threatening situations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care with professionalism.
• Maintain a safe and patient-focused environment.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients.
