Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Muskegon, MI. The role involves operating MRI scanners, administering contrast as needed, and collaborating with radiology teams to deliver accurate diagnostic images.

You will work a dayshift, 40 hours per week, on a travel basis with competitive pay and benefits. Requirements include an MRI-focused Radiology program, one year of MRI experience, state license compliance, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Radiology program of study with specialization and training in MRI.
• One year of experience as an MRI Tech.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications prior to procedure.
• Educate patients on MRI procedure and answer questions.
• Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Start IVs and administer contrast media per orders and protocol.
• Monitor image quality during procedures and adjust scanning parameters.
• Document all procedure details in compliance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and timely delivery of results.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace per infection control policies.
• Follow hospital safety and radiation safety protocols.
