Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Duluth, GA. The MRI Tech will perform imaging, patient preparation, safety screening, and image evaluation, with 40 hours per week on day shifts under travel employment terms.

Requirements include 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, plus state licensing as needed. The role emphasizes teamwork with radiologists and patient care in a fast-paced travel setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain imaging procedures to patients
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures
• Interpret doctors' instructions and prepare patients for MRI scans
• Position patients for MRI and ensure safety per regulations
• Assist radiologist during procedures
• Load and operate power injectors for contrast media
• Evaluate MRI image quality and label images correctly
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS system
