Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Wenatchee, WA. The role requires 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with MR registration, plus state licensing as needed.

Responsibilities include patient screening, positioning for MRI, contrast administration, and collaboration with radiologists. The travel position offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour evening shifts, and a tax-free stipend may apply.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of MRI experience.
• BLS and ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification with MR registration.
• State-specific licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and explain procedures; obtain informed consent and reassure patients.
• Screen for MRI safety before procedures.
• Follow doctor's instructions and prepare patients for MRI imaging.
• Position patients and ensure safety using immobilization equipment.
• Assist radiologist during procedures and manage contrast administration.
• Operate power injectors for contrast media as directed.
• Evaluate MRI image quality and organize images for interpretation.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS/McKesson systems.
• Follow safety procedures related to radiation and patient protection.
