Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Des Moines, Iowa. The role requires 24 months of MRI experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification. You’ll work in a hospital MRI department with options for 7a-8a starts or 3:30p/4:30p finishes, totaling 40 hours weekly.

Floating to multiple campuses may be required, and candidates should hold a valid license if applicable. Siemens and GE equipment are used, and Epic is the EMR system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of MRI experience required.
• ARRT (R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• License required if applicable
• Travel experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment in a hospital-based department.
• Perform contrast injections (power injections) as required.
• Work 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts (days).
• May float across multiple campuses as needed (Iowa Methodist, Iowa Lutheran).
