Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist for a travel assignment in Des Moines, Iowa. The role requires 1 year of experience, BLS and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, and state licensing where applicable.

You will perform MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists. Responsibilities include patient prep, safety screening, proper positioning, contrast administration, image evaluation, and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• 1 year of MRI experience required.
• BLS certification and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT registration.
• State licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Explain imaging procedures to patients and obtain consent.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Interpret doctors' instructions and position patients for scans.
• Assist radiologist during procedures and manage contrast media.
• Load injectors, ensure image quality, and maintain records.
