Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a contract assignment in North Charleston, South Carolina. The position entails performing MRI examinations, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining imaging equipment to deliver high-quality diagnostic scans.

The 13-week travel contract offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts, focusing on patient care and accurate imaging, with relevant registrations and Philips MRI Systems experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT/ARMRIT/CAMRT registration.
• Phillips MRI Systems experience.
• BLS certification required.
• 2 years of MRI Tech experience in hospital or imaging center.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues
• Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality
• Maintain patient records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
• Follow all safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration
