Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Charleston, SC. The role involves operating MRI scanners, ensuring patient safety, and delivering high-quality imaging in a clinical setting.

You will work 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, with travel benefits, competitive pay, and full benefits. Start ASAP. Requires MRI program training, ARRT/ARMRIT preferred, and a valid state license.

Qualifications

• Completion of Radiology program with MRI specialization.
• One year of MRI tech experience.
• Valid Radiology/MRI license as per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications prior to procedures.
• Educate patients on MRI procedures and answer questions.
• Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment and report malfunctions.
• Start IVs and administer contrast media per orders and protocol.
• Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters for diagnostic results.
• Document procedure details in line with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers for timely results.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace following infection control policies.
• Follow hospital safety rules including radiation safety protocols.
• Perform other duties within MRI technologist scope.
