Job summary

Focus Staff currently has a client in Yakima, WA seeking a licensed MRI Technologist to join a contract assignment. The role demands high motivation, energy, accuracy, and a patient-safe approach in a fast-paced environment.

The position is 13 weeks, 4x10 hour shifts, with travel possibilities and ongoing support from Focus Staff. The ideal candidate will have two years of MRI experience, a valid state license, BLS, and strong communication skills to explain procedures and address patient

Qualifications

• Two years of MRI experience.
• Active state MRI license.
• BLS certification.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of MRI protocols and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Follow protocols and safety guidelines under supervision.
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns.
• Position patients and select coil sequences per protocol.
• Train new hires and trainees in MRI procedures.
