Qualifikationen

• Two years of continuous MRI experience at MRI Technologist level.
• Licensed MRI Technologist with license in required state.
• BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of MRI protocols and patient safety.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• 2 years of hospital experience in clinical area; EP preferred.

Aufgaben

• MRI Technologist operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients for diagnostic purposes.
• Under supervision, performs related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality and patient safety.
• Performs patient studies according to protocol including positioning and coil selection.
• Operates imaging equipment and sequences, adjusting parameters to acquire quality images.
• Interviews patient to explain procedures and address concerns with tact and courtesy.
• Ensures patient and staff safety by following safety protocols and monitoring patients.
• Orients new hires and trains MRI Technologist students and trainees.
