Qualifications

• ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification required upon hire; BLS required.
• MRI program completion or ARRT-R education required.
• Minimum 1 year MRI experience.
• Competent in MRI including patient positioning, pulse sequences, and magnet safety.
• Ability to explain procedures and maintain patient goodwill.
• Ability to work independently under pressure with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide MRI services across the facility to support diagnostic imaging needs.
• Position patients and optimize pulse sequences and magnet safety.
• Explain procedures to patients and guide them for cooperation.
• Interact professionally with patients, families, coworkers, and physicians.
• Prioritize tasks and adhere to policies and standards.
• Cover rotating shifts; 40 hours per week with weekend work when required.
