Qualifications

• Two years of MRI experience (hospital) and proficiency in MRI procedures.
• License in the required state.
• BLS certification.
• Proficient in MRI procedures and MRI protocols.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
• Preferred EP experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images.
• Follow directions from Radiology leadership and ensure high-quality patient care.
• Perform patient studies per protocol, positioning coils as needed.
• Set up scan sequences, adjust transmitters/receivers, and input data.
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns with tact and safety.
• Ensure safety for patients and staff, enforce safety protocols.
• Orient and train new hires, students, and trainees.
