Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start of assignment.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to obtain diagnostic images and select appropriate anatomic and technical parameters.
• Prepare and position patients and provide pre-screening, scheduling, and patient education.
• Enter and monitor patient data and transfer images to PACS ensuring high image quality and accurate documentation.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Report equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
