Qualifications

• Two years of continuous MRI Technologist experience (20+ hours/week).
• Full proficiency in MRI duties and protocols.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and patient safety.
• Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Follow protocol and perform scans with appropriate coil and sequence selection.
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns with tact.
• Ensure safety by removing hazardous metal objects and monitoring patients.
• Orient and train new hires and students in MRI operations.
