We're looking for a Travel MRI Tech in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry, based in Pennsylvania, United States.

Role:

The successful candidate will function as an MRI Technologist, performing examinations on patients of all ages to assist in diagnosing illnesses.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform MRI diagnostic imaging procedures according to department protocols.
2. Locate and record internal body elements, identifying anomalies indicative of disease or injury.
3. Adjust equipment and calm patients to eliminate test artifacts.
4. Monitor patients for physical and emotional changes.
5. Evaluate test results for clarity and accuracy.
6. Review tests with peers and physicians.
7. Inform physicians of preliminary findings as needed.
8. Distribute test results to physicians and service providers.
9. Prepare diagnostic information for interpretation.
10. Maintain patient charts, enter diagnosis and billing codes, and update patient data systems.
11. Clean and sterilize equipment and workspace.
12. Recognize equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
13. Instruct patients on pretest preparations and procedures.
14. Ensure compliance with Siemens, hospital, and departmental policies.
15. Maintain equipment according to Infection Control procedures.
16. Continue education and participate in Siemens training programs to maintain technical competency.
17. Administer contrast agents under guidance of site Radiologist, following protocols.
18. Maintain current Permits to Practice in all relevant states.
19. Perform equipment quality checks and troubleshoot issues.
20. Follow quality assurance guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
21. Perform additional duties as required.
