We're looking for a Travel MRI Tech in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry, based in Missouri, United States.

Role:

The successful candidate will perform MRI examinations to assist in diagnosing patient illnesses.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI diagnostic procedures on appropriate anatomical regions according to protocols.
• Locate and record internal body elements, identify anomalies.
• Adjust equipment and calm patients to ensure quality tests.
• Monitor patients for physical and emotional changes.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy and clarity.
• Review tests with peers and physicians.
• Inform physicians of preliminary findings as needed.
• Distribute test results to physicians and providers.
• Prepare diagnostic information for interpretation.
• Maintain patient charts, enter diagnosis and billing codes, log data.
• Clean and sterilize equipment and workspace.
• Recognize equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
• Instruct patients and explain procedures.
• Follow policies and procedures.
• Maintain equipment per Infection Control standards.
• Continue education and participate in Siemens training.
• Administer contrast agents under supervision, following protocols.
• Maintain current permits in all states of service.
• Perform quality checks and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Follow quality assurance and confidentiality standards.
• Perform additional duties as required.
