Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Minneapolis, MN. You will operate MRI scanners, interact with patients, and contribute to accurate diagnostic imaging while enjoying competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the support of a dedicated clinical team.

Required qualifications include completion of an MRI-focused radiology program, one year of MRI experience, valid Radiology/MRI license, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Radiology program with MRI specialization completed.
• 1 year of MRI tech experience.
• Valid Radiology/MRI license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications prior to procedure.
• Educate patients on MRI procedure and answer questions.
• Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment.
• Start IVs and administer contrast per orders and protocol.
• Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters.
• Document procedure details in hospital information systems.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate results.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow safety protocols.
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned within MRI technologist scope.
