Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Ellsworth, Maine. You will operate in a hospital imaging department, performing MRI scans for mostly adult patients with some older pediatrics, in a single MRI room.

The role features 40 hours/week, 4x10 hour shifts, no weekend rotations, no on-call requirements, and on-site parking. ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification and BLS are required, with 2+ years MRI experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years MRI experience in acute and outpatient settings.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required.
• State license required if applicable.
• Experience with IV starts and patient instruction.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures in a single MRI room with a focus on patient safety.
• Work without weekend rotation; 4x10 hour shifts schedule rotating weekly.
• Maintain communication with patients and radiologists and document in EMR.
• Operate Cerner EMR and Agfa PACS and ensure image quality.
