Job summary

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Ellsworth, Maine. This travel position offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and the chance to work with advanced MRI equipment while supporting community health.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT certification, MRI specialty credentials, state licensure, and at least two years of MRI experience, plus BLS. You should be comfortable working independently; travelers not accepted.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification required.
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an MRI Tech.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT credential preferred.
• Experience with IV starts.
• Must be comfortable working independently.
• First-time traveler not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and follow physician’s scanning instructions and position patients for MRI procedures.
• Operate MRI scanners to acquire diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to protocol during imaging.
