Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Salem, Massachusetts. The role involves caring for adult ICU patients in a 20-bed MICU with night shifts and potential float to Med/Surg units.

The successful candidate will hold an active Massachusetts RN license, BLS and ACLS, and have 2+ years of ICU experience, including telemetry, plus experience floating between units. End date 01/02/2027 with a 13-week assignment.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse License.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• 2+ years of Adult ICU experience (preferably MICU).
• 2+ years of continuous work in a single location.
• Telemetry competency and high-acuity patient management.
• Experience floating between Medical/Surgical units.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to adult ICU patients in MICU and float to Med/Surg as needed.
• Manage high-acuity conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, and cardiac emergencies.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Support a 20-bed MICU with 12-hour night shifts and continuous monitoring.
