Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for a MICU travel assignment in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The 13-week contract starts 11/16/2026 with 36 guaranteed hours per week and 12-hour nights (12x3) in a hospital ICU caring for critically ill adults.

You will monitor hemodynamics, titrate vasoactive drugs, administer therapies, and collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team. Must have 2+ years MICU experience, active RN license, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years MICU experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• CCRNs and Cerner ICU/Covid ICU experience preferred.
• Active RN license (in good standing) and ability to meet state regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work in a high-acuity ICU setting and to comply with hospital policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for critically ill adults in MICU, including patients requiring ventilatory support and complex medical management.
• Monitor hemodynamic status, interpret data from monitors, and titrate vasoactive medications as ordered by the care team.
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, blood products, and essential lines; ensure infection prevention and line care.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform frequent assessments, document findings accurately in the medical record, and participate in rounds and care planning.
• Respond to rapid response or code events, coordinate with the team to stabilize patients, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Navigate the Cerner electronic health record for orders, documentation, and communication with family members as appropriate.
