Job summary

Healthforce is seeking an RN to join a high-acuity CICU in Lawrenceville, GA for a 13-week travel assignment starting 10/05/2026. The position features 12-hour day shifts on a 12x3 schedule and guaranteed 36 hours per week in a 20-bed cardiovascular ICU.

Candidates must hold active GA RN licensure, with AHA BLS and ACLS. CCRN preferred; NIH certification noted. Requires at least 2 years CICU/CVICU experience and the ability to work holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years CICU/CVICU nursing experience
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CCRN certification preferred
• NIH certification noted in job notes
• Active RN licensure in Georgia
• Ability to work in a high-acuity CICU environment and meet holiday requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for CICU patients recovering from open-heart, vascular, and thoracic surgeries
• Monitor hemodynamics, interpret telemetry, and manage ventilatory support as needed
• Administer medications and therapies, titrate infusions, and monitor for adverse effects
• Manage complex devices and lines (IABP/Impella, CRRT, epicardial pacemakers, central venous/arterial lines)
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, participate in rounds, and update care plans in the electronic health record
• Respond to emergencies, ensure infection control, and educate patients and families as appropriate
