Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Everett, Washington. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 48 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, and a travel employment type in Everett, WA.

The role requires an active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS & ACLS certification, and at least 18 months of MICU experience in acute care settings.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care MICU setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and education to patients and families.
• Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment (ventilators, feeds).
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration; respond to distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and catheters as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
