Job summary

McClatchy Media Company seeks a part-time Merchandiser to service product in multiple stores and travel between accounts. On-site role in Acworth, GA with a 30101 zip code service area. 100% travel is expected across territories while maintaining product standards and store integrity.

The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to multitask, and reliable transportation. Background checks and drug testing are contingent on employment, with a company-wide attendance

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
• Conduct self in a professional manner.
• Adherence to attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel.
• Able to use Movista and/or other company-required applications.
• Have personal cell phone and mobile device, such as a tablet.
• Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products in retail stores per standards.
• Replenish stock safely and efficiently.
• Assemble shelves and display cases per measurements.
• Service stores as scheduled and coordinate with Supervisor.
• Record work hours using designated applications.
• Communicate duties with store personnel and supervisor.
