Job summary

McClatchy Media Company is seeking an on-site Merchandiser to service products in multiple stores, with travel between accounts. Part-time, non-exempt role requiring reliable transportation and strong communication skills. You will follow planograms, replenish products, and document hours using company applications.

Travel up to 100% of the time is expected, with schedules assigned by the Supervisor of Merchandising. Occasional overtime and adherence to attendance policies are required.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities.
• Able to multitask and be detail-oriented.
• Professional conduct and attendance policy adherence.
• Reliable transportation for travel.
• Must use Movista or other company-required applications.
• Must have personal cell phone and mobile device (e.g., tablet).
• Proficient with Word, internet, and email.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products in retail environments according to store/corporate standards.
• Safely replenish products and, if needed, assemble shelves/racks following measurements.
• Service assigned stores on scheduled weekdays; obtain approval for overtime from Supervisor.
• Accurately record work hours and other information using designated applications.
• Communicate with Supervisor about duties not listed and any schedule changes.
