Job summary

McClatchy Media Company is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service stores in Harriman, TN. On-site role involves merchandising products, replenishing shelves, and following planograms while maintaining corporate standards.

You'll travel across the territory up to 100%, adhere to schedule, record hours in designated apps, and coordinate with the Supervisor of Merchandising to align with store needs.

Qualifications

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
• Conduct self in a professional manner.
• Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel.
• Able to use Movista and/or other company-required applications.
• Have personal cell phone and mobile device, such as a tablet.
• Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications.

Responsibilities

• 100% Merchandising: Work within a retail environment to merchandise products, replenish stock, and set up displays per standards.
• Service all stores as scheduled within the hours provided by Supervisor, Merchandising; seek approval to work outside scheduled hours.
• Contact Supervisor before overtime or more than 10 hours in a workday.
• Accurately record work hours and other information using designated applications.
• Discuss duties with store personnel with Supervisor approval where needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Work stores as scheduled; handle products correctly including returns.
• Follow planograms (POGs) and display guidance.
• Maintain regular communication with Supervisor.
• Develop relationships with store personnel.
