Job summary

Grocery Outlet is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to support launch and update of new stores across the US. You will travel weekly to merchandise locations and assist Independent Operators and their teams with brand standards.

The role emphasizes field representation, flexibility for nights and weekends, and coordinating merchandising with store teams to ensure readiness and optimal product presentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising in retail environments.
• Ability to travel 4–5 nights per week.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and organized with time-management.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating merchandising best practices to store employees.
• Guiding Independent Operators and their store teams on merchandising and brand standards.
• Constructing & deconstructing of store fixtures including shelving and racking.
• Unpacking pallets with various types of food & products.
• Merchandising and organizing product on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
• Working efficiently and effectively on tight timelines.
• Administrative tasks including but not limited to managing expenses, booking flights, submitting time sheets, checking email, etc.
• Clear and consistent communication.
• Other duties as assigned.
