Job summary

Gifted Healthcare is seeking a MedSurg RN to provide bedside care for a variety of patients and to perform individualized assessments that inform an individualized plan of care.

Responsibilities include preparing, administering, and recording prescribed medications; initiating alternative actions when adverse symptoms arise; and performing wound care tasks such as dressing changes, catheter insertions, and IV starts as needed. Shift: 3x12 Nights.

Qualifications

• Provide bedside care and perform individualized patient assessments to support an individualized plan of care.
• Administer, record, and monitor prescribed medications.
• Perform procedures such as wound care, catheter insertion, IV starts when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for MedSurg patients and document assessments.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
• Administer medications and record administration details.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, initiate IVs as required.
