Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a MedSurg RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Medford, Oregon. The role is 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts and travel employment status.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of acute care experience and holds ACLS and BLS certifications. You will perform bedside care, medication administration, and assist with discharge planning in a fast-paced MedSurg setting.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required or in progress.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in medical-surgical nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients including pre/post‑op.
• Administer and record prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Assist with procedures, dressings, catheters and IVs as directed.
• Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning.
