Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living support at GSS NE Auburn in Auburn, NE. The role includes medication administration under a licensed nurse, vital signs, and assistance with activities of daily living, aligning with each resident's plan of care.

Shifts are 8 hours with varied scheduling; this PRN role requires minimum 30 hours per month and one weekend shift per month, with travel to support multiple locations within

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred).
• State CMA/CNA certification required per state practice (Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota) as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision of a charge nurse.
• Administer medications as delegated by a licensed nurse within scope of practice.
• Assist with activities of daily living, vital signs, documentation, and wellness/recreational activities.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
