MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Medical Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Lewiston, Idaho. This role requires ASCP/AMT/HEW/AAB certification and 18 months of lab experience, with a 40-hour work week on days. A state license may be required, and housing or allowances are provided.

The position offers weekly pay, credentialing support, and comprehensive benefits through MedPro’s network. This is a travel contract, not a Medical Assistant role.

Qualificações

• Active certification through ASCP, AMT, HEW or AAB required.
• Eighteen months of Medical Laboratory Technologist / Technician experience required.
• A state license may be required.
• Need to have a basic grasp of scientific laboratory procedures, including using laboratory equipment and generating reports from laboratory tests.

Responsabilidades

• The Medical Laboratory Technologist will spend the bulk of their time testing blood and bodily fluids using laboratory equipment.
• Examine specimens for bacteria, viruses or parasites.
• Measure levels of drugs or other chemicals in the blood to ensure therapeutic levels.
• Interpret and deliver test results following lab protocol.
