MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Medical Technologist for a travel job in Ilwaco, Washington. The position offers a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week, typically 9-hour daytime shifts.

As a travel opportunity, you will be employed through MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified provider, with benefits including housing options, travel reimbursement, and credentialing support.

Formación

• ASCP, AMT, HEW or AAB certification required.
• Eighteen months of Medical Laboratory Technologist/Technician experience required.
• A state license may be required.
• Basic grasp of scientific laboratory procedures and ability to generate reports from tests.

Responsabilidades

• Test blood and bodily fluids using complex laboratory equipment to obtain diverse information.
• Examine specimens for bacteria, viruses or parasites.
• Measure drug levels or other chemicals in blood to ensure therapeutic ranges.
• Assess chemical content of blood for nutrient deficiencies or cholesterol/blood sugar excesses.
• Operate cell counters, cultures, microscopes and other lab equipment.
• Follow lab protocols for analyzing, interpreting and delivering test results.
