MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Medical Laboratory Technologist for a 13-week assignment in New Haven, Connecticut. The role requires 18 months of MLT/MT experience, active ASCP/AMT/HEW/AAB certification, and a possible state license depending on the location.

This travel position offers 40 hours per week with nights. The candidate will perform complex laboratory testing, analyze results, and ensure accuracy of reports while adhering to lab protocols.

Qualificações

• Active certification through ASCP, AMT, HEW or AAB is required.
• Eighteen months of Medical Laboratory Technologist/Technician experience required.
• A state license may be required.
• Basic grasp of scientific laboratory procedures and ability to operate lab equipment and generate reports.

Responsabilidades

• Test blood and bodily fluids using complex lab equipment to obtain information.
• Examine specimens for bacteria, viruses or parasites.
• Measure drug levels or other chemicals in blood to ensure therapeutic ranges.
• Analyze, interpret, and deliver test results following lab protocols.
• Use counters, cultures, microscopes and other lab equipment as needed.
