Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Medical Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Rockford, Illinois. The role includes 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, with travel benefits and housing support.

The ideal candidate holds active certification (ASCP/AMT/HEW/AAB), 18+ months of MT/technician experience, and may need a state license. You will perform basic lab testing and deliver accurate results while adhering to protocols.

Qualifications

• Active certification through ASCP, AMT, HEW or AAB
• Eighteen months of Medical Laboratory Technologist / Technician experience
• State license may be required
• Basic grasp of laboratory procedures and using laboratory equipment

Responsibilities

• Test blood and bodily fluids using complex lab equipment.
• Measure drug and chemical levels in blood for therapeutic monitoring.
• Analyze chemical content in blood to assess nutrients, cholesterol, and glucose levels.
• Operate cell counters, cultures, microscopes and related instruments.
• Follow lab protocols for analyzing, interpreting and delivering test results.
